ACS-LA will be accepting applications in early 2022 for the John E. Heyning Research Award and the William F. Samaras Research Award in the amount of $1000.00 each. Applicants should be researchers or students living and/or attending school in California or whose current research focus is on marine mammals in or near California with priority being given to work conducted in Southern California. ACS-LA Research Grants for 2022 will be announced in late winter 2021/early spring 2022.
