Wow did we have an incredible day for our 8 hour annual ACS-LA Summertime Whale Watch on the Condor Express out of Santa Barbara! With 30 humpback whales, 1000s of dolphins, and even Risso’s dolphins, we truly had a magical day of sightings and fun in the Santa Barbara Channel! See the summaries from the Condor Express and our avian naturalist below.
We were treated to incredible wildlife moments, scenic coastal caves, and the joy of sharing it all with fellow ocean enthusiasts. We were also lucky to have Maria Martone, marine biologist from the Pacific Whale Foundation, as our naturalist, and Matt Brady as our avian naturalist—thank you both for sharing your knowledge and passion with us!
